What type of cardio exercise is best for weight loss? That depends on a lot.

Cardio workouts are great to maximize calorie burn off and fat loss and is even more affective when they include vigorous exercise to elevate your heart rate with short rests in between.

If you imagine that exercise is the sole way to go – well, don’t kid yourself. Exercise in conjunction with what you eat contributes to weight loss and eventually a lean body. 

The challenge is keeping determined enough to stay with the program to achieve your weight loss goals, which prescribes staying with a schedule that allows moderate to demanding body activity and a nutritional meal plan that meets your dietary goals and yes, your taste. No one keeps eating dietary meals that don’t satisfy their taste bud.

For those of you who don’t need a group setting or instructor to be motivated to workout, having your own gym at home could be the answer to achieving your desired weight loss. What determines the best cardio machine for you depends on your personal fitness goals and current fitness levels. Don’t know about you, but I think that time and money spent to achieve and maintain good health that potentially leads to a better quality of life as we age is a fantastic reward and one that sounds so sensible, yet may not be enough to motivate people to take the steps needed to improve their health.
